The way I think, analyze things, the way I see things. My ideals, I draw, I write ect. I often wonder what exactly am I doing here? Do I have a purpose upon this world? Do I have something to say? All the thoughts I have and the way I see things. Is it of any importance?

Does anyone else wonder what exactly is there purpose?

Well it seems to me you are asking if one person can make a difference.yes they can. I will tell a little story to make my point. A little girl was standing on the beach and she was looking at all the starfish that had been washed up on the shore. She patiently bent over and gently picked up a starfish and placed it in the water. Most of the starfish were washed back up on the beach by the waves, the odd one washed out to safety. She repeated this process, for what seemed forever.A man who was watching her ,could see her efforts were futile and it seemed an almost impossible task.He approached the girl and said, "Do you think you are going to make a difference.Look at all the starfish on the beach?" She looked at him with such optimism , picked up another starfish, gently placed it in the water and said " It made a difference to that one!" You can make a difference too, one person at a time.

I stopped wondering a while ago. I believe that we have a life and we should use it in a way where when we grow old and look back, we'd have no regrets. So my self centred purpose is to enjoy life. My purpose in regards of being meaningful is to always be the opposite of what others are. If, for example, my project group is filled with optimists, i'll be the pessimist to point out all the negative aspects for us to work on. If my group was filled with workaholics, I'd be the cool guy who will keep everyone relaxed and make sure they chill

Yes, you do have a purpose in this world. Sometimes, you have to wait for it to come to you. You may be getting little hints right now, like your writings and drawings. Who knows, you could become a famous author, writing books to help people understand life. Your doing your homework for that right now, by asking questions that have you confused. I know what my purpose in life is. I asked a question about it awhile back and mistakenly called it "my calling" in life. I had my hints when I was your age. You'll find it, buy it may take some time.

As an atheist, i have a pretty grim view of our importance. We are as important as we make ourselves out to be. We all end up in the same place in the end... 6 feet under.

The general purpose of mankind...To make our own purpose...

believe what you want to believe, have fun, and try to do something positive for the world before you go... then others may see you as "important"

Of course I do! You have to find your own purpose in life and live it to the fullest. If you don't think you have a purpose you will probably never discover it.
