I'm just another person with problems, quirks,and b/s. I actually was being arrested(teen)right when 9/11 happened. I remembered how real that attack was,EVERYONE stopped, sort of reminded me of how everyone together noticed the Aliens on Independence day,intense as it was, it just hit you in the heart. Now today I own my own business and live a normal life. Hearing abouth this fire in California hit me like 9/11. All I can say is that man.....I'm praying. This is truely a national problem....let's just see how Bush will handle it!!!!!($5million so far,hah!) Love, another person just like you! -Bobby

Fortunately, I live in the wild concrete jungle of the Los Angeles Megalopolis near the beach, so I'm not directly affected by the unbelievable firestorms up in the hills and mountains, though the smoke is everywhere... makes for some eerie red sunsets.

North San Diego County is hardest hit with some 1,000 new palatial homes completely burnt to the ground (so far) and 500,000 people evacuated! Really sad.

My heart goes out to those who have been displaced by the fires in CA. I hope they all had home insurance. Those that chose to risk living in a fire-prone area without insurance, unfortunately will likely have their irresponsible behavior validated when our gov't bails them out.

P.S. Coast to Coast AM? Isn't that the show that talks about UFO's and Bigfoot? Hardly the type of show I'd turn to for reliable coverage.... They'll probably interview some guy who swore he saw black helicopters spraying napalm, or that the fires were caused by a crashed UFO.
