to everyone who have answered your question, does everyone gets one point for every thumbs up vote that I click? anyone know?

let me try to make it more clear...my question i posted has been voted by the community as "best answer." If i go back to review this same question voted by community and click on everyone to vote thumbs up, does each and everyone scores one point?

If it's in voting I don't think you can give thumbs up!! If it's a question not in voting they only get the thumbs up points if they are selected for Best Answer!!

no one gets points for a "thumbs up" unless that question has already been voted "best answer."
If a question is chosen as best answer, the best answer(er) gets an extra point for each thumbs up, but I do not believe that these points are given retroactively on a decided answer.

Yes one point for very thumbs up IF your answer is chosen as best answer. No points for every thumbs down.

That would explain why...when I get best answer, there are varying numbers of points from10+... Check out your or my best answers to see if that is true DC... I'll keep my eyes posted and apprise you when I see a pattern...

no you dont.. you get point if you have best asnwer...and u get a thumbs up ..but ur anser has to be best...it only works after it has been chosen best answer
