im just curious, i hope to god they didnt boo him, that would be killer upsetting especially for a guy who is probably expecting to walk in and hear cheers from the team he was so loyal too, He freakin cried over them!

Apparently he was cheered with a standing O and the Oilers put together a video tribute played before the game... he was almost in tears again. Just wondering, If he was so unhappy about leaving the Oilers, why didn't he re-sign with them when he was a FA?

He was cheered, applauded, given a standing ovation, and a long tribute ceremony before the start of the game. For all the cheering that happened when he was on the ice you would have sworn the game was at Pepsi Center.

He cried again. When they gave him the standing ovation he cried, then those bastards booed him when he touched the puck. That's like people in Colorado booing Joe Sakic if he left.
