There are some very good historical reasons why we should be fighting the war on terror - and make no mistake, Iraq has become the center of this war.
In recent history, another ideology of hatred and domination was allowed to grow while the world pretty much sat on the sidelines - the ultimate result was an estimated 62 million deaths before the Nazis were finally defeated.
It seems we are in a position now to try and stop yet another ideology of hatred and domination before we repeat the mistakes of the past and allow it to grow to a formidable force.
As a "catchy" quote, you might borrow from Albert Einstein:
"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing."

undesirable "infantrymen have become killed in great numbers", 3200 US Troops have died interior the previous 6 years. that's the backside casualty score in any warfare interior the U. S.'s historic past, I wouldnt precisely call that substantial numbers. "The warfare is all a pair of guy searching for vengeance for his father", did you forget approximately how Saddam defied the UN on 17 distinctive sanctions interior the previous couple years? Or how he commited geonicide on the Kurds in Iraq? Or how he claimed to be the downfall of the U. S. and Democracy? in spite of the fact that if a warfare become neccessary or not, Saddam necessary to be dealt with and because no one else interior the international would do something yet talk by way of fact the 90s, the U. S. become the only united states w/ the balls to do something. in spite of the fact that if or not you compromise w/ me approximately politics, until your instructor is extremely left that's advisable to place the two perspectives on the priority on your paper and clarify why you think of your view is right.

Bring in a document shredder and feed Barbie into it feet first.
Tell the class that Saddam Hussein did this to people he didn't like. He made films so he could enjoy them later.
We made him stop and freed the Iraqi people. They now have a chance to control their own lives for the first time in all of history.
This has been painful and it is not over.
It is still worth it.

I would mention 9/11 in your opening... and as far the the troop withdrawal... if you listened to his speech yesterday when he asked for more funding for troop essentials, he mentioned that a couple of thousand troops went home last month and more are planned to leave before the holidays.... And with the decline in violence, more are expected to come home...

Or "How many aluminum tubes doe it take to enrich uranium? Don't know? Neither does Iraq despite the lies Condi Rice told."

Or "How patriotic was Cheney when he exposed a covert CIA agent out of spite?"

Or "Does VP Cheney's 5 Vietnam war deferments equate to cutting and running?"
Or "How did Cheney predict Iraq's future so accurately in 1994?"
