I have to buy them on DVD to see now. Remember Barnaby Jones, Hunter, Kojak, Ellery Queen, The Hardy Boys and Police Woman? Geez, we had something to look forward to every night!! At least I can watch Columbo, Matlock and Murder She Wrote on the Hallmark cable network.

I loved those detective shows. I also liked the Rockford Files, James Garner was a cutie and 'Canon' was one of my favorites. I still watch Matlock, Murder She Wrote, and Diagnosis Murder in reruns.

All of those and these too:

Hill Street Blues
NYPD Blue
Naked City
Third Watch

I currently like the Soprano's (I live in NJ, they require all of us to watch this show-HA!), all of the Law and Order shows, Boston Legal, Shark, Numbers and Criminal Minds.

The rest of the shows on are just stupid...especially those reality shows "as if" and the inane World (fill in the blank) Video's.

I have a great library of films. About 300. When I want to watch something really good, I will pull down "African Queen", or "All About Eve", "Out of Africa", "The Edge", or another wonderful movie and watch that.

I liked Kojak and my dad did, too, as a cop. I had the biggest crush on the guy who played Crocker. (I don't like the hair implants.) I liked Ellery Queen because of the setting, but the most of them weren't realistic and were too easy to see through. My dad used to say that he'd never invite Mrs. Fletcher anywhere because every time she shows up, someone dies.

Perry Mason was a favorite. You had Hamilton Berger, and Lt. Trag (sp?). Barnaby Jones was good. How about the Pink Panther?

Not really. Once in a while I will watch one on cable and they are so dated. Besides, I have seen them all. I do get a kick out of the clothes in the shows from the seventies. Those bell bottom pants!!!
