I have a 28 day cycle and my period normally lasts 7 days, this month My period was on the 13 October and finished on the 18th, the next day I did an ovulation test and it said I was ovulating so I had sex with my boyfriend. Could I be pregnant and is it posible to Ovulate so soon after your period?

Yes. You can also get pregnant on your period. Those women who have a short cycle, 26 days or less, have the highest chance of having a very early ovulation day. When you have a short cycle it is very possible to ovulate very early. CD8 is 6 days earlier than the "average" ovulation day for a 28 day cycle. But it can happen... the average ovulatation is only a guideline. Also, your fertile window is 3 to 5 days. Say you ovulate on cycle day 12 and had sex on cycle day 8... that is a really good chance of conception because the sperm can live for a while in your reproductive system. If you really want to know when you ovulate go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com and start charting your cycles.

Yes you could ovulate that soon. I even have a friend who conceived while on her period. Here are some other ways to tell of you are ovulating. There are lots of ways to see if you are ovulating, One way is track your cervical mucus. A few days before you ovulate it will become clear and stretchy similar to a raw egg white. And you can use a ovulation calender I love the one at www.babyhopes.com Also you can track her basal body temp when she is gonna ovulate it will get a little higher. Also you should have her husbands sperm count checked. And also after you has sex you should lay on her back with a pillow under her hips for 20 to 30 minutes to allow the sperm to pool against her cervix.

First of all, using your cycle as the only means of protection is extremely irresponsible. Sperm can stay alive for five days inside the body. You should definitely use some form of protection at all times.
Having said that, you aren't very likely to get pregnant the day after your period, but it is possible. What sort of an ovulation test did you use? There is the possibility that it was faulty.
Edit: Please ignore that first part if you're trying to get pregnant. :o)

those ovulation tests are about 99% accurate, thats really soon to ovulate, but everyone is different and ovulates on their own time, you know what the test said. now you just have to wait til you are supposed to start again and test for pregnancy. just so you know, the wait sucks!!! and if you dwell on the thought of being pregnant too much, your body will start to react to that and it could cause your next cycle to be late, even without being pregnant. good luck to you and God bless

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

It could happen. Sperm are tricky. I wouldn't take any chances unless you want to be a mommy. For me I got pregnant a few months after I gave birth to a baby. I had 2 children about 13 months apart. I was not suppose to get pregnant but I did!!!!

Yes, that is possible. It is possible for you to get pregnant at almost any time, but it does vary from person to person. Your ovulation time could really be at any given time. Like I said every person differs and that is possible for you.

Even though you're less likely to conceive immediately after your period, it's possible at *ANY* time during your cycle. And that includes during your period.
I'd suggest taking a pregnancy test to be sure.
Good luck...
