While the professor is lecturing, & for 10 whole minutes she doesn't notice & the other students keep laughing?

Is he playing tic-tac-toe on a board where everyone can see? Or is he playing with the person next to him on paper? Either way sounds as if he is bored, but, of course, tic-tac-toe is boring too, so the poor guy isn't helping himself any.

Was he playing with someone else or just by himself? It really doesn't make much sense playing by yourself, but maybe he was that bored. Why were people laughing? Tic-Tac-Toe isn't funny. Do they laugh when people doodle too? Why were you watching him instead of listening to the lecture? Sounds like the prof and/or subject is kinda dull.

I'd think he was really cool and most likely asked to play him, unless I needed to learn then i would just want him to keep his games to himself.
Tic-Tac-Toe is a pretty awesome game though ;D

I would think that the person would be either bored, already knows everything or has a case of ADHD. or if they have adhd, the writing and supposedly not paying attention to the professor is what it seems this person is doing, but actually when one is scribbling that has ADHD, you hear and concentrate much better.

Would think he's bored - the professor doesn't/shouldn't care - the guy is paying for an education he's not getting

Looks like hes enjoying himself and cutting stress. I also think your a little too old to be worried about someone like that.
