stains in a mattress?

i spilled red sherbert on my almost brand new mattress....any ideas on how to get it off

If you have a steam carpet cleaner you could use the hand attachment for the mattress.

Shaving foam (not gel) old toothbrush and some light colored towels... Start by putting a small amount of shaving foam on the stain and working into area with an old toothbrush.. Blot area with the light colored towels... You will see the stain hopefully lift off the mattress on to the towels... Rinse and repeat with clean towels until stain is gone.. .Go and get yourself a mattress pad that can go into the wash or don't eat in bed... Good luck
