I predict this will be the most anticlimactic story pursued all season.
The guy's hobbling, getting yet more surgery and the rumors have him going everywhere but Columbus.
If and when he returns the NHL, what will his role be? A high octane, fully functioning squad will not turn its roster upside down to accomodate Forsberg. Conversely, a bubble or cusp team may not be an attractive option for him.
So, Ottawa? Will Forsberg accept a 3rd line or a specialized role? Injuries aside, if you were the Sens coach, would you mess with your top two lines?
Colorado? End it where you started it? Makes more sense for Forsberg, but does it make sense for the Avs? That'll depend on where the team sits in January and how their younger guys have developed in the interim.
So, if it really is between Colorado and Ottawa, my guess is that the former makes a lot more sense than the latter. With all that said, I stand by my prediction that the steak will come nowhere near matching the incessant sizzle.

Sorry I don't know much about him, but he is a hockey team, and I bet he will play for any team that wants him, and willing to pay his salary.

I see him going to the Avalanche. he's played there before, he's got friends there, and they're STACKED so he'd be able to win a cup before retiring.
