Flames Fan, we're all in the gym getting ready for our tryouts. lol
Seriously, though, they're just trying too hard and the longer they suck wind the tighter they'll get.
Unfortunately, they have a 6 game homestand through the 1st week of November when what they really need is a week-long road trip to get away from the pressure in NYC and bond as a team.

Slow start is all. I won't worry till game 20 or so. Defense has been very solid, but not great. Lundqvist should be 7-1 based off his play. We'll see what happens during this long home stand. Renney needs to stop jugglin the lines and things will start to settle down. Hossa and Malik SUCK and will hopefully be traded soon. Gomez has too much speed to be playin w/ Jagr. Gomez, Shanahan and Dawes played great during the preseason and should be playin together.

I'd say slow start. If I were a Rangers fan, I'd be hoping to see some consistent improvement by Game 20.

Doesn't look like the parts fit yet...Either too much talent to be this bad for long or perhaps too many young guys overwhelmed by playing with legends. Age of the vets is starting to become a factor...Goalie is going to wear down if he doesn't get help. Defense is so so...Malik over hyped.

Rangers are a bunch of stars in the same sweaters that have to share a dressing room, ice time and the puck. There isn't enough good defencemen and far too mnay star forwards. And to top it off Jagr is not a leader. People wouldn't follow him across the road at a crosswalk even with the light in their favour.

They always have started slow under Renney!!
Keep singing the "they suck" tune, they'll break out after they get another month or so to mesh the lines together.

They started off like this last year, too. They ended up doing fine. I wouldn't worry about them right now. It's only freakin' October.

Everyone is expecting them to do great, but I'm telling you the loss of Nylander was the dumbest thing they could have done.
