I got pregnant while on the pill. I took them perfectly and still got pregnant. I didnt know until I was 6-7 weeks pregnant.

If you think you are pregnant then take a test.

Antibiotics are the number one thing to mess up your cycle and make you prone to pregnancy. Always back up your first method with a second when you are on antibiotics. My DH is proof of that.

I found that when I am on antibiotics it actually messes up my cycle completely, not that it skips it at all or anything, but it usually alters my entire body chemistry...I ended up a week off, and didn't adjust my pills. So I had the wrong amount of hormone at the wrong time. I'm no doctor, so I'll probably get shot down for this info, but I don't care...I know how my body reacts...and I know that every single time I've been on antibiotics since then, I've had the same problem (and thankfully no other kids to follow...we backed ourselves up, or skipped altogether).

I would get tested just to be sure. It might not be though, might be you're just off a bit in your cycle from the affects of the medicine in your system.

Yes, you can get pregnant while on the pill, especially if pills are missed/skipped and antibiotics does decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills.

There's no way to tell for sure that you're pregnant unless you miss your period and then do a pregnancy test.

If you have any concerns and think you might be pregnant, I would recommend discussing this with your doctor so that you can stop taking your birth control pills.

Good luck :)

while you're taking the tablet properly (i.e. by no skill lacking a unmarried tablet and taking it on the comparable time daily) the likelihood is a pair of million in a hundred, yet once you at times pass over pills or do not take them on the comparable time daily, the likelihood is bigger b/c you will possibly enable the point of start administration hormones on your physique to drop long sufficient for you to ovulate. definite the likelihood is low, yet not almost 'next to impossible' - it happens each and all the time. (in case you have ever heard of the television instruct "i did not understand i became into Pregnant", lots and many those women people have been given pregnant on a similar time as on the tablet and endured to have bleeding that they concept became into their era.) while you're worried, i might take a try (first factor in the morning, and follow the learning heavily). that's maximum confusing to understand precisely while to take a try in case you have been on start administration, b/c you will possibly have ovulated at any factor in the month and not unavoidably at day 14 such as you will possibly assume. in the adventure that your start administration failed and additionally you ovulated later in the month, it may desire to take longer to get a good result on a HPT. So definite, i might try back merely in case. And while you're nevertheless in touch, you may consistently go see your dr. stable success.

Of course you could. Nothing is 100% even if it was taken as prescribed.

Go and get a pregnancy test.
