Just off the top of my head, I think of "Dark Moon" sung by
Gayle Storm back in the 50's. And I think of "Blue Moon of
Kentucky" a country song from the 40's I think, and Elvis also
recorded it somewhere around 1956. And the standard, "Blue Moon" from the late 50's. I don't remember who recorded it tho.
Then there was "How High the Moon". And I think, Les Paul
and Mary Ford recorded that. Also in the mid 50's. "Moon
Over Miami", but again, I don't know who recorded that one.
This is all I can think of on the spur of the moment.
