As I read there are really so many good answers. Gives one much to think about. At first I was about to vote Tommy as the best answer but I see several others.

Dear Angelica1951,

Matthew 5:28 makes it pretty clear that adultery begins with those lustful thoughts.

The footnote in the Life Application Bible points out that if the act is wrong, then so is the intention.

For His glory,

No, it's considered human. What defines our character is our actions.

Think of this way: are you a charitable person if you THINK about helping the needy, but never do? Are you an honorable person if you THINK about joining the armed forces, but never do?

You should be concentrating on the service in church, and your spouse at home. I believe if you are happy at home, then there won't be any lustful thoughts anywhere else.

According to the bible it is. But I think you should be asking your spouse what they think cheating is. That's how you should define being faithful

Possibly, that depends on your intentions. Can you be honest with yourself about your intentions?

If you cannot be honest with your spouse, how can you be honest with yourself?

Good luck.
