M*A*S*H was one of the greatest movies of all time! Do you know the name of the song that was the theme from MASH? Remember Painless and the black pill? How about "We're the pros from Dover"? Was Hotlips really a blond? How about Lt. Dish? Remember the announcement over the PA "All enlisted men will report at 0900 for short arm inspection"?
The first season of the TV show was great. It went downhill when they lost Frank Burns, replaced by Charles.When Col. Blake left to be replaced by the dork Col. Potter. Trapper was replaced by BJ. The appearance of Klinger which made the show a joke. Hawkeye, Hotlips and Radar was the only constants. Whenever I want my dose of MASH I watch the original movie.
Oh, in case you forgot the theme song is named "Suicide is Painless".
