I would suggest any of the following...

Glassworks at 9th & Main,

Science Center on Main between 7th & 8th,

Steamboat cruise on the Belle of Louisville on River Rd,

The Louisville Zoo on Trevilian Way off of Poplar Level Rd. (they currently have a baby elephant),

Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville on S. 3rd St,

Kentucky Derby Museum on Central Ave.

I'm not positive of the name of the street (I'm thinking it's 7th street) but if you walk out of the slugger museum and turn left. Go down a block, turn left and go a block. On the corner there you will find a glass shop. If you get there at the right time you'll be able to watch glass workers. Don't miss 4th street Live!
