Depend on what kind of story it is.
if AHHH continue with 'she scream, thinking how miserable her life', then it's lame.
but if AHHH continue with 'a scream broke the silent of night...' I think it okay.
or maybe it just because I dont really enjoy chicklit, I prefer suspense and fantasy. drama okay, but romantic novel, no.
