Is this how those former Trotskyites and Menshoviks whom are called the Neo-Cons intend to implement their desire to invade Iran and overthrow the democratically elected government of that 3rd world country?

Lets get some things straight.
I'm not blaming the Republicans alone. I know full-well that the Democrats are just as pro-war (though some of the rank and file are not).
Besides that, the Neo-Cons are very clearly a bunch of Trotskyites and Menshoviks as "America's Doctor" has pointed out (see http://www.house.gov/paul/congrec/congrec2003/cr071003.htm ).

Interesting that the Gulf of Tonkin happened under a Democratic administration and the only people that want a return to the draft are Democrats. Yet you blame Republicans.

As for Iran actually having a true democratic process...I really doubt it.
With that said, the recent rhetoric tends to be very much "pro war" no matter what the cost or need.
There is no actual need for a war with Iran. They have no actual facilities as yet for even working toward a nuclear device. If they do develope such a facility, it is a simple matter to just take out that facility like Israel did with Syria.
Another "Gulf of Tonkin"??? Who the heck really knows. I think that there may be a possibility of another "terrorist" attack of much greater impact than 9/11. That COULD be blamed on Iran or Iran's support of terrorists.

Funny you mention Communist names and equate them with conservatives. More correct would be associating them with "liberals" {socialists}.

Although, limited airstrikes are a possibility.
For other posters - The US govt recently revealed that the Gulf of Tonkin - the event which was the pretext for the war in Vietnam, was staged.

I was disqualified from the Military a few years ago(eye injury).So let them bring back the draft,it just might be my ticket in.
