the pill is safer than a condom but you have to take it everyday at the same time. I prefer the birth control patch b/c it's less room for error. You only change it once a week. It's worked for me for more than five years. I didn't have any side effects on it like I did on the pill.
even though I'm on the patch, i still use a condom for that extra protection.

The pill sometimes might not prptect you as well as the condom, saying it's not 100% sure, but to be safe use the condom.

The pill is much more effective than condoms for birth control.
The condom is much more effective than the pill for protection against STD (sexually transmitted diseases).
In addition to the pill, protect yourselves from STD by using a female condom for her.
Continue to be responsible and safe.
Good Luck.

I believe that if you are meant to have a baby you will , no matter what type of protection you use. So I use both, I take the pill and my bf uses the condom.

If you're period ended 3 days ago, then you should be fine even without the pill. It's a good thing you took it though, and it is a good thing you are on birth control, so don't get me wrong when I say that. But you should be fine.

if taken correctly it is very effective i have been on it for 10 years and it has never failed me however it does not protect you from STD's so unless you both know you are clean condoms cover you from that fact.
Just make sure yoou back up with condoms for the 1st month on the pill to make sure you are protected

use both until you marry. pills don't protect 100%, and don't protect from STDs. you can get pregnant on the pill, and you can get pregnant with a condom. don't chance it.
