my bf got into an argument with this guy....i was with my bf at the time....they were both yelling and bout ready to fight....i told my bf tho to calm down and told him that we both need to leave....now i hear that my bf and that guy are gonna fight....i'm really scared.....i love my bf, he loves me too.....he'll do anything for me....but when he gets mad, then all hell breaks loose.....how do i try to reason with him....i've tried talking to him but he tells me not to talk about this topic anymore....what should i do ???

Seems as though there is confusion about what "love" means..It doesnt mean ignoring you when you need to talk with him; it doesnt mean having temper tamtrums and allowing the person" he loves" to pay a price for his inability to control his temper. It doesnt mean you having to put up with this when there are boys/men who arent as immature and would treat you with respect; you love him because you feel sorry for him thinking that someday you will be able to change him..Most of the time temper mismanagement comes from deeper issues from one's past. Thats why it is unlikely he will change from your efforts w/o first admitting he's got a problem and second that he shows interest in getting help.
