I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton, but intelligence is a quality I appreciate in a candidate. Bush, of course is not running, and all of the GOP hopefuls seem to have an IQ many points higher than the current president, but still I wonder if the dumber someone seems, the better the chances are to be elected.

Well I am a fan of HIlary. She is the only one that makes sense, has the intelligence to rule and the experience to back herself up. Plus she has a very astute political partner.
No polititian is perfect and does the right thing for all the people.
The political machines are a scary thing to watch from here in Canada. It is never the best candidates that run. It is the ones with the most money and probably a huge ego to boost. Find me a good honest politician and you will most likely find a dead one.
And the scariest of all is that Canada is slowly emulating the US style of election madness.

'...The dumber someone seems, The better the chances are to be elected...'

Welcome to America.

And BTW - Tell us again how smart Bush is; C C. That's why his staff provides him with pronunciation guides just to pronounce the names of foreign leaders in his speeches; And then has to stand haplessly behind the curtain with their heads in their hands while Bush STILL mangles every other word.

And ANOTHER BTW, rightwing - Clinton wasn't "duped" by Bush. She TRUSTED our President to do the right thing and let the inspectors finish their work. She was naive; Not stupid. Lots of other Americans also wanted to trust Bush in the months after 9-11 and look where it got them...

Hey....just remember this. Hillary has admitted on numerous occassions that she was "duped" by Bush. If the "world's smartest woman" was duped by the "world's dumbest man", I think it's safe to say her IQ is near single digits.
