I'm writing an essay about the Third Amendment. I'm nearly done, and I've done pretty darn good if I do say so myself ;) but how do I end it?

I've written, "In conclusion, I agree with the Third Amendment. It .... "

What do I write? I was aiming for "It ensures that I will get to keep my privacy" or something like that, but it's late, I'm tired, and I still have to do dishes, so I'm a bit dazed-feeling.

Thanks for your help =)

Its a specific but its still in regards to our personal freedoms. The King of England required that colonists house (which also ment feed) soldiers without the colonists say or even their ability to do so. Im sure it was hard enough to survive in a"new World" without having it taken away. Its another way of protecting the property and personal rights and belongings of individuals from confinscation from governmental bodies.

continuing your sentence --

"... except in a time of war, when I would of course agree to house the soldiers because that would mean they're fighting in my neighborhood."

Right? I mean, you wouldn't object to them staying if the battle was on our soil (not that you could object in accordance with the 3rd Amendment during a time of war), would you?

It is another one of the ways my home is safeguarded against invasion just because I live in a country where my rights are important.
