Mark Cuban has said that he doesn't want Kobe. He believes in the team he has now, and for good reason.
Even if Dallas was offereing, Kobe won't be traded before or during this season. If he leaves LA, it'll be after opting out after this season. Even if he does get traded before then, teams like the Bulls and Suns can give much more enticing offers than Dallas.

i was 90% but sice Kobe is playing in pre season down to 50%. mavs will give up josh howard, j tez and devin harris as well as draft picks. If this happens mavs win NBa finals. They'll have a superstar that doesn't choke.

hopefully very low. we're gonna make a push to win the title this year if we keep our lineup. harris has made a large improvement as well as howard. and if brandon bass gives us half of what he has in the preseason he's gonna be a beast. throw in dirk terry stack and hopefully a much improved diop, and we are gonna be pretty tough. as usual though it's gonna come down to dirk's playoff performance. as much as he's been hated for his play against GS, his avg's do go up in the playoffs. can't ask for much more that. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!

The other night on the news, they reviewed the dancing show he's on, and he said he didn't want Kobe and wasn't involved in any deals with him at all.
