is this true?and where do i put it?

Yes it is true and it also helps to trim their beaks. Yes turtles do have beaks. Just make sure you remove the metal clip first. Once the cuttle bone sinks it is time to add a new pc and remove the old one.

Also try egg shells..my turtles love them and they provide calcium as well....

If the turtle doesn't nibble on either one of these you might have to try the Herpcare Calcium Pellets

A wide variety of fresh vegetables and the turtle pellets provide calcium as well...

Yes, I do this with my turtle. They will nibble on it as needed. Just break off a piece of cuttle bone and let it float in the tank.

It works and is recommended for birds..so maybe turtles need calcium too. Get a turtle care book at the pet store.

It works fine, but you should be offering a solid diet and just using this as a minor supplement.
