lol. I was in gymnastic for awhile and this is how i learned how to do a split. I stretch my legs everyday so that my joints are more flexible so that splits can be easier.. then after that i do a split [but i couldn't do one so my butt couldn't touch the floor so that would a be a barely split].. but each time i try to go lower and hold it for a while and then stretch and then do it again... over about 3 days, i but could reach the floor and wel.. i did a FULL split... try that

The reason why your legs will not go all the way apart, has nothing to do with the ability of your muscles to do one.

Your nervous system doesn't like your legs spliting and forces your muscles to tighten up to gain balance. Pain is caused here as your muscles try to snap themselves back to standing position.

You can train your nervouse system to allow you to keep going but it takes some time. Hold a split pose and breathe deeply in and out until you relax enough to go a little further.

Read the extensive stretching information (with a few articles on splits) in my source

I danced from the age of three. i'd stretch all of the time by way of fact i had to be waiting to do the splits. It took distinctive artwork over a protracted time. in case you tension it you will somewhat reason some severe injury. Please be careful!

This can not be easily done in just one click most especially if your grown up already, much better if you started on your early age. Your bones are still soft and flexible to do bone stretching, it follows on what body trick you'll do. But if you really want to do it asked for an help to a more experience and knowledge dance instructor for a proper guidance. Don't do it by yourself alone it will put you into harm and danger.

You don't really need to learn how, you just have to train your muscles. You have to be extremely limber to the splits and in different ways. If you want to do the splits and not hurt yourself, start with Yoga. Stretch your muscles everyday. You'll have to stretch your leg muscles, thighs, calves, glutts. Just stretch everyday and it will soon happen.

you can do it two ways: one leg in front and one in back, and one leg to your left and one to your right.

the best way to learn how to do a split is to stretch and practice. each day growing closer to the floor. it was hard for me and it took a while..but i think that was because i was afraid. lol

try just thinking about your leg muscles being an elastic. right now you are probably tensing your muscles. think about relaxing. it also helps if your lean forward and try to put your weight right over your hips. (if you were doing your irght splits you would lean left and viseversa) HOPE I HELPED!
