A democratic republic would be a group of people that do things in a democratic way- such as voting to make decisions. A republican democracy would be a government run by people with republican values/beliefs. (pro-right to bare arms, pro-life, etc.)

Democracy tends to lean towards the care of the poor, and the needy in our society. So the Democrats tend to lean towards the poor and the needy rather than those with a big bank account. It seems that there is much more to be said for Democracy and taking care of the poor and the needy than there is to be said for taking care of the riches in the bank accounts of our society.

I tend to feel that the rich, being rich, can take care generally speaking of their own needs and wants more generously than can the poor and the needy...therefore there seems to be a logical conclusion in my mind that there is more care towards those who need it than towards those those who are more independent of need as such.

A democracy and a republic are two very different forms
of government.
If the question asks the differences between the
Republican and Democratic Party, then that depends
on a evaluation of what is said - actions- promises, etc.
