I need to know how to find the distance between the two points
(60N, 110W) and (20S, 110W)? Can someone please help me

It is a messy calculation if EW is involved. The easiest way is to use Google Earth or one of the online calculators.
North south distances on the earth are just about 69 miles per degree. so in this case 80 x 69. You can get closer by looking up the exact value.

It's not that messy since you are on the same longitude. Since you are on a sphere, the 110th W longitude scribes a "great circle" with the same diameter as that of the earth. The laditude distance is 80degrees, or 80/360 = 2/9th of the circle's perimeter. Since the full perimeter is about 24,600 miles, take 2/9 th of that.
