I have a couple of friends that use Flow bindings and they have held up for several seasons and seem strong enough. I have tried them and would say that they are heavier and not as responsive as a regular binding. I personally believe that the last versions of high back "step-in" bindings (SIS, Clicker)were better than Flow but these are no longer available.
I would stay away from the K2 Cinch (K2's answer to the Flow) - they only seem to only hold up for one season.
I would recommend going with the Ride EX binding - these are top quality with metal buckles that won't give out after only one season and have a street price in the low $100's.
Good Luck

I've also heard mixed reviews about Flow. I've heard the older ones were pretty good. But their new ones suck. Apparently, the latch wears down over time, and some people have trouble getting it tight. The fit can change depending on a bunch of constantly changing variables on the slopes too, so the fit won't be as good. I mostly hear stuff about Burtons, Flows, and k2's new line.
I have last season's Burton Missions, and they're great. The Mission and Cartels are what most intermediate riders use from Burton. I've never heard anything bad about the Missions, and the only problem with the Cartels I've heard is that some people have broken the Sky-Back(s) getting off the lift, but if you just knock it down before getting off, you'll be fine. Freestyle's are only for beginners. I've never ridden them, and I've only heard they suck and should only be used if you're just starting.
Flows I've gone over.
k2's new line with the auto-something tech. seems like their counter to Flow. The concept sounds good, but there haven't been many people who have gotten to use it yet. The regular latch would probably be better than the Flows', so I guess its a fair bet. They might also be kinda heavy though.
Have fun this season.

DON'T GET FLOW!!
They're only upside is that they are quick to get into when you are on the flat. If your on a hill they're a pain to get into and i find them annoying on chairlifts cos the highback drags along. Also they have really bad response unless you make them really tight and then its almost impossible to get your foot in.
Go for a ratchet bindings. I use nitro and they have been awesome but there are loads of good brands out there. Try stay away from Burton if you can. I know of alot of people who have broken healcups on burton freestyle and cartel bindings. Mind you burton is quite cheap and readily available.
shop around a bit for a good price. Make sure you take your boot along so you can check if it fits. It sux to spend $200 on new bindings only to find you cant fit your boot in the base!!
Good luck!!

Ive never ridden flows myself but have heard very mixed reviews on them. I myself would recommend Ride bindings above all others, especially if you are worried about breaking them as Ride bindings are really strong and durable, Good Luck.

i have a set of flow bindings myself and ive had em for a year now and they are the amp9 model, the havent failed on me yet. they have a tension strap that you have to loosen or tighten in order to have your bindings not to slip off or come undone while on the lift or on the hill. i would reccomend a pair of ratchet bindings because they are almost a 99% garentee they wont fall off but if you do get flow dont get the newer models about amp 9 or higher because they dont have the tension knob. my amp 9's have worked great but they seem to tear your boot a little bit so every 2 years you might need new boots, but you would need them anyway because of your feet growing! so it all ads up and if you have your boots wore down u look awesomer when you walk into the shalet. lol its true! ive done it

yeah flows are retarded
but depending on how good you are i'd recommend the RIDE BETA'S they're one of the best bindings.
if you're looking for easy access and quick-in bindings like flow however, try to K2 CINCHES or BURTON P1'S.
I have burton missions, they're awesome
Ride Ex's are great too.
