Bill Clinton's popularity ratings keep going up every year despite the efforts of his distractors to slime him in every way possible. People understand that the sole purpose of the republican led congress in Clinton's last term was to impeach him, at any cost. They succeeded in doing that but made him into a folk hero as well. He left office with an approval rating that was well over twice what our current republican presidents is now. And now Bill's wife Hillary is running for president and is expected to beat anyone the republicans run against her. That's vindication at it's sweetest.

he won't be "famous"... the only famous presidents are those that serve during huge wars or get shot (or both), which Clinton did not do either...

he merely had a scandal... which many prior presidents have had, and they never became famous... well maybe Nixon, but that was different.. since he was forced to leave office due to it

The fact that he was President will be enough. Just like Millard Fillmore who was also a President.

He's kind of roly-poly which doesn't auger well. We had lots of roly-poly presidents in the late 19th century and who remembers them? Grover Cleveland,McKinley, basically everyone but Hays. It seems to blot out memory,at least when it comes to presidents.
