I mean thyink about it. From Columbus's time, white people have always made colored people slaves. The Europeans came from Europe and took advantage of the Native Americans, and made them slaves. Once the Native Americans started dying out, the brought new African slaves, and treated them like crap.Throughout history, white people have always considered themselves superior..im not trying to be offensive to anyone.. but, haven't you recongnized this pattern..?

Have you noticed that every race (tribe, clan, group) considers it superior to every other race (tribe, clan, group) and has for thousands of years. The blacks in Africa made slaves of other blacks and of Arabs. The Arabs made slaves of blacks and other white (the Shores of Tripoli, remember) and the Chinese made ....
Don't try the race card on this.

Yes, as a Black person I am all too familiar with the superiority complex of White people. However, it started off as an inferiority complex. The Greeks went to learn in Egypt. That is where most of their knowledge came from, because they are not an old people like the Africans. Maybe they feel they have something to prove, like asserting their right to be here. After all, i'm sure some White people are aware that their genes are recessive. Meaning that, only two white people can produce another white person. But a white person and a Black person creates another Black person. Maybe this pattern of dominance and subjugation is a way of assuring the continued existence of White people, because without it, surely they would dissappear into intermarriage and non-white offspring.

There is no such a thing as a superior race. This is racist propaganda by the so called "Whites" (ethnic Europeans). History is written by winners and rewritten by conquerors. Since 15C, Europeans have written history and recreated themselves into a superior and civilizing race. This is the trick with all new conquerors. In order to maintain their dominance, they use all the propaganda tools available: racist media, racist cinema, racist academia, racist interpretation of sacred texts. There are DEVELOPING and LOW INCOME countries in Europe that never make the headlines in the international media controlled by powerful White lobbies. Moldova and Albania are striking examples. There are people with milk white skin in North Africa, Asia even in Europe that are far from superior. The international media rarely talks about them. The White race has a mediatic image to promote. There are book bans and press censorship for documents that can damage the image of Whites as superior. You seem to admire White people for their achievements, accomplishments and technological advancement regardless of how they have arrived. Europeans have stolen lands, massacred millions of Native Americans and Africans, spread racist lies over lies against people of color (non Europeans) everywhere in the world, enslaved millions of non Europeans etc. Europeans and their descendants create wars for oil or mineral resources; they support dictators and unpopular leaders who sell off their lands and precious resources. Have you ever heard of power-shift? Sooner or later, power changes hands, colors and forms. Power has changed hands, colors and forms many times in world history. World history is at least 6000 years old. Europeans and their descendants scattered around the world achieved dominance over the last 500 years. There was a time in world history where Europe was at the margin of the civilized world (during the Dark Ages, before the rise of the Romans and Greeks.). The most famous slaves in the world are Europeans: the Janissaries, the Mamluks, the Saqaliba and the Barbary Slaves. Their history is recorded extensively and yet very few movies are made about them. You have been brainwashed. Please free your mind.

F@#$ OFF. That question is just as racist as some ranting KKK member, just the same as judging someone just because of the colour.

The "pattern" you have mentioned has just been in the last 400years... easy to forget the previous thousands of years. Perhaps, rightly or wrongly, previous centuries believed they were superior because of technological advancement. Any culture (white, black, chinese, indian, roman) has believed themselves to be superior when they are going through periods of advancement. The last 400 years it just happened that it was the time for the English.

AND NOT EVERYBODY BELIEVES JUST COZ THEY ARE WHITE, THEY ARE SUPERIOR. PEOPLE ARE BORN EQUAL (REGARDLESS OF COLOUR), IT'S WHAT THEY DO IN THEIR LIVES (And that includes posting dumb questions) THAT MAKES THEM SUPERIOR (posting an intelligent answer).

I mean thyink about it.

Yeah, it's not exactly a new concept that people use to act like that, and some still persist in keeping the attitude alive.

Thanks for generalizing.

And btw, it wasn't only race, it was class too...I think their first slaves in Europe were generally other white people.

Edit : http://elliotlakenews.wordpress.com/2007/01/14/yes-virginia-white-slavery-existed/
"Before British slavers traveled to Africa’s western coast to buy Black slaves from African chieftains, they sold their own White working class kindred (”the surplus poor” as they were known) from the streets and towns of England, into slavery. Tens of thousands of these White slaves were kidnapped children."

So before you decide to generalize next time... maybe be more specific about the AFFLUENT whites who held that attitude and passed it down to people today.

In the government and what not yes I have. But I hope you do realize that not all white people feel that way. I sure don't! We live in a very judgmental world and unfortunately we still have alot of racism. I wish myself I could change that. I would like to apologize on behalf of my race for any ignorance. Hopefully it will get better in our future!

We DON'T consider ourselves superior anymore. This is evidenced by the fact that we're giving this country over to the Mexicans and everybody else with brown or dark skin, and we're giving all the other white-developped countries over to the Muslims.

We, the ones in power, have enabled ourselves to get sued and even jailed for hate crimes for being "racist", and we never get mad when non-whites say the most demeaning things and murder our people in the most brutal and savage way.

Our entertainment media serves little more than to worship the masculinity and cultures of the very people you liberals claim we hate.

Now, what was that you were saying about us feeling "superior"? Giving a few backwoods redneck exceptions is NOT sufficient to say most whites are racist.

Well, in the case of the Native Americans, your dead right. However, it wasnt all one sided. Certain warlike native american tribes committed attrocities to the settlers, so this probably didnt help. The settlers must have decided to destroy the tribes with their superior weaponry.
It wouldnt matter which ethnicity of human - whichever has the upper hand will take advantage of it. It just happens that ethnic European whites have always seemed to lead the world in innovation and invention. So dont blame yourself, or your race!

Well, they have this mentality of thinking that the world revolves around them. They think that they are superior because of skin color. Not all of them do this, but when some do, they do it excessively. Too many white people think they're all "that". I agree with you about this topic because of the historical evidence behind this claim. You're right to say that they treated African Americans like crap and they gave small pox infected blankets to Native Indians! Why? Because they wanted land that the Natives already founded and built a colony there. There are many more reasons why a lot of people think that white people believe themselves as the king of all races. White people need to know that skin color does not matter; we are all humans and equals.

I don't think it is white people thinking of themselves superior, I think it is the majority of people that think of themselves as superior. Look at Hitler towards the Jewish people. Look at the people who took on the Mormon religion as far as the rest of the population around them, consider the groups of students who are different in the schools, (Gothic, nerds, etc.) those that don't agree or like the style seem to make themselves superior. Consider the woman who walked into the convenience store with her face covered (i think Muslim) and the cashier refused to serve her. He (the cashier) didn't consider her way of life and that proves to be (at least for me) a lack of education on his part. This in my opinion was a great question and would be a good one for a debate team. Lots of direction to go with this discussion.
