Are most big corporate jobs cancelled?
like banks, manufacturing and dot com's,

the schools are closed for the week so a lot of parents are home with the kids (like my wife)
but I'm at work
the phones are pretty quite
restaurants, hotels, banks are all open.
we are having a hard time getting shipments into parts of town so some jobs have been put off for a week or so till all the roads are open.

I have a corporate job and those who live out of the fire areas are reporting to work. Some who have been evacuated chose hotels close to the office and worked today. My office is downtown.

I think just this week people won't be reporting to work, I'm sure that as soon as the fires go down, every one will be returning to work & continue with their life. I am praying for all of San Diego.

since most people had to evacuate most jobs are cancelled but i don't think supermarkets are
