Global warming is a fact. It is an observable condition, just like a sunny day is an observable condition. A theory would be an attempt to explain what causes the condition to exist.
As for every scientist agreeing with something, they are people. It's pretty rare you get every person in a group to agree on one thing, but I don't know of even one scientist who has successfully challenged the major observations on this one. However, there is a great deal of debate over what is causing it.

Global warming has nothing to do with Ozone depletion. It is a fact under the eye of science, however, it has many theories explaining why it is occuring. Not every scientist agrees with it, every topic in the world has opposing sides, its just a fact of life. What seems to be misunderstood is that without the greenhouse effect life would not be possible on Earth. We are just overloading the process with excessive methane, carbon dioxide, and deforestation, just to name a few. The natural coping mechanisms are failing, and fast. Its probably too late to make "small" changes to fix this, and people tend to point the fingers at all the wrong places anyways. Power plants and Agriculture are the prime contributors, with transportation a close third. How can we live without the first two? We can't, so we will probably be unable to react with anywhere near the speed that we need to.

It is true, global warming has been occurring over the last few decades (less than 100 years). Understand that global warming is merely the trend, from year to year, of an increasing average temperature worldwide. Data shows that trend has been occurring for well over 50 years.
This does *not* mean that global warming will continue. We do not know why there is global warming, and therefore we do not know if it is a temporary "surge", a natural or man-made phenomenon, or really much of anything except that there *is* an ongoing trend. That's all that science can say for certain at this point in time. Further study will, hopefully, uncover the cause of this trend.
In other words, global warming could end next year - without any human intervention. Or, it could be snowballing (as some theorize), and the rate of warming will increase. Or anything in between, at any time scale you want (the warming trend might naturally begin reversing itself 100 years from now, for all we know).
All science can claim for certain, at this point, is that global warming has been occurring, and there is (as yet) no evidence of a reversal.

Not every scientist belives in global warming. But is is out there. The ozone layer is being destroyed due to accesive amounts of gas polluting the earth. The UV rays and hurting people. Global warming is somthing that high end scientist are working on, they are trying to invent new ways to dilout the amount of green house gases created in every day lives by cars, buisnesses, and electricity.

Even proven theories are still theories.
Scientist recently measured the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere. It's never been lower than now. Never.
Decrease in oxygen with an increase in carbon dioxide comes from burning carbon.
Also the rate of change is faster than ever.
There may be some scientists who don't agree with the theory. They probably also believe smoking is good for you.

That climate change is occurring is universally proven, but for the moment no one has demonstrated the cause.
However, the most likely cause for the time being is atmospheric co2. As this is effected by the entire carbon cycle, not just emissions, there is a lot of work being done to define precise mechanisms for causing the changes we are witnessing.

Its not really a theory. We can see where it happened and we can see that it is happening. Most scientists agree that its happening but they do not all agree on why.
**turk...but Earth isn't a sphere.....its an oblate spheroid....almost kinda peach shaped.
