Actually once heard that a bumber sticker is likely to sway 1 out of every 7 voters to vote for that candidate. Very powerful.
The other is pressing flesh. Getting out to fire up the base, and getting grassroots door to door support out are the others in my opinion.

random banquets or parties in witch lots of people are invited, and as talk spreads news and other things about them does too. they may sponsor certain groups or events like sports ect. this is so people will like them. and simple word of mouth like said above.
the banquets are fun to freeload.
