234 is the COUNTRY CODE for NIGERIA--world headquarters of most scammers. This is NOT a USA number--not Ohio or anywhere else in USA. A USA number CANNOT be longer than ten digits-3 for the area code and 7 for the number. This looks too similar to phone number scammers give out to call them while they are trying to con you out of your money. 234 is the international COUNTRY CODE for Nigeria, where most of these scams originate.
