Spending time with my family. I don't really care about the gifts; I love the decorations and the food but, I especially love the spirit of Christmas. We spend Christmas Eve at church where my daughter-in-law sings (and it is her birthday). We have cut way back on spending for gifts and give something homemade (food or cookies) just because we feel that Christmas should be a celebration of the birth of Christ and a time to spend with family and friends not a time to spend more than you can afford to spend. For the little ones, of course, we do have special gifts but for the adults, we share the day together which is more meaningful than any gift could be.
