e^x = e^(ln 1)
e^x = 1
x = 0

ln 1 = 0 because e^0 = 1.

Any thing raised to the power 0 is 1.
8^0=1; 15^0=1 etc.
10^0=1
so, by the definition of logarithm, log(1) (to the base 10)=0 because 10^0=1.
Log(1) (to the base e is 0, because e^0=1.
