i was called a social butterfly and id like to know more of that meaning, and Party animal which im not even tho i do go " the parties"

A social butterfly is someone who loves to socialize with other people (I'm one, no need to be ashamed) and a party animal is someone who loves to party and drink and get sloshed all the time

It depends on who you are socializing with and how old you are but in the past this becomes more of a class issue. A social butterfly would be someone who knew how to put together great functions and entertain well. A party animal is only someone who is young, goes to a lot of parties and probably throws up a lot.

social butterfly is someone who loves to socialise, meet people and basically is a peoples person.
party animal is the one who loves to party and is seen in all parties.
