La Crescenta is pretty smoky.. and the sky is sorta reddish
and it's hot
but other than that .. i'm pretty safe

In Vista, CA (google it) right in the middle of several fires. This area is one of the few that has not yet evacuated. It;s been very smoky and ashy, and yes scary, we know a lot of people who have evacuated. Went thru this in 2003- all you can do is watch the TV and monitor the internet news. I really wish they would come up with more realtime updated maps.

There was LOTS of smoke up here in Newport but the wind has now shifted YEAH! (planes are landing at John Wayne to the north - non-Santa Ana wind style). Maybe things will start to settle down???

pretty scary, I can see the smoke from the fires in San Diego and Im in Temecula (Riverside County). So im in the middle of all the fires!!!!!!! i hope they dont close in on me.....
