The gorgeous pacific ocean, right outside my window.
Let's go for a walk on the beach. It is simply beautiful today.
Then I'll take you on a hike across the ranchlands, forest and ocean trails a plenty.
Dinner with an ocean view.
Tomorrow, we'll follow the narrow road that follows our creek. You'll enjoy the farmlands, the cattle and horses, the fields of vegetables still growing fresh. We'll stop at the farm where they sell homemade preserves. You just may want a snack.
I'll show you points of interest that the tourists never see. This is a magical town. Only a local can show you what it's all about.
Ready? The guest room is clean!

I would be able to show you the whole thing in less than 5 mins... A town with a population of about 250-300ppl. But, I guess I would have to say the swimming pool. An elderly lady named Maisie DeVore saved aluminum cans for 30 yrs until she had enough money to build it for the city. You can google her name, there are thousands of links. Talk about patience and dedication! In many of the stories about 'Crazy Maisie,' you might read how she was in all 3 Sarah Plain and Tall movies starring Glenn Close, who, donated money to Maisie's pool fund.

I would take you up to the Palisades in New Jersey at night high up and over the overlook show you Manhattan. All can be seen just by turning your head from left to right.
From lower Manhattan the Verrizano narrows , the statue of liberty , the lights that mark where the twin towers stood. to the empire state and up town to the Bronx. To see all of NY you must be in New Jersey

My hometown isn't where I live now. I would show you Lake Erie, greasy spoon cafes, Lake Erie again, the harbor that used to be used, and while we are there we would see Lake Erie, of course. I could show you where the steel mill was going to build a plant along....yep, Lake Erie. Had enough?

I'd show you what used to be my home town before all the retailers came in. Id take you to the few areas that are not crowded beyond belief. I guess I'd have to show you pictures, because my town isn't the same anymore. Now it looks like every other town across the US. It's full of strip malls and Restaurants.
