Are you sure it's not Almira? That would be the mean lady who takes Toto away from Dorothy in the begining. In the film she was played by the same lady who plays the Wicked Witch of the West, but on stage in order to spread the roles around sometimes two actors play the roles.
There is no Amber. If that is indeed the character name you were told then I think the director of your productions decided to name some of the ensemble. I really hope it's not one of those children's theatre ones where they actually add numbers that aren't even in the show just to give the ensemble more to do... Perhaps you will get a line in the Munchkinland or Oz scenes, but on your resume I would still consider putting ensemble or possibly featured because there just is no Amber.

I really dont think there is an "Amber." If a teacher told you you got that part, try searching through google for 'Complete list of wizard of oz characters'. If a student told you that, they were probably lying. Sorry......

Well, in the stage version, they do add extras and its not quite like the movie, so I'm guessing that your in the ensamble/chorus or an extra.
