I know there are women out there who have children through sperm banks and I really commend that but Robin is asking the wrong guys to father her child...I mean come on ...Jax...she was just begging for a hassle there then Lucky...Patrick is the only one I'd want to have a baby with him and maybe Sonny and probably Jason...but Patrick doesn't want one...

Uh...the question is do you think Robin is going about this whole baby thing wrong? I mean she's asking Carly's husband and Lucky...even Elizabeth said she's going about it the wrong way

YES! YES! YES! I am SO glad to read someone else who understands how I have been feeling about this storyline! I understand her desire to have a child despite her HIV status however I find it embarassing and TACKY that she is making a list of 'donors' at WORK and that she is showing it to her coworkers and her ex lover. WAY too much information to be sharing at work. And I thought it was VERY crass to ask Lucky who has MANY problems of his own already and Jax, too. I heard her say that she wanted to ask him to really upset Carly, his wife. NOT COOL to me! Just go to a sperm bank if that's your choice but don't mess up everyone else's life in town!

yeah i agree i think it was way out of line for her to ask Jax with him being married and all. as, far as Lucky goes Elizabeth wasn't saying that because of Lucky there was hidden meaning. She said I don't think any man would be able to stay away from their child once they see him (like Jason) Anyway Robin should have a donor, anyone else would be too complicated. I am sure Patrick will switch the sperm (whosever it may be) with his own in the end!

I agree its a silly story line. Who on earth would run around asking everyone in town to be your baby's father. I mean these are people she's known for years. How can she do that and expect them to say yes. I wonder if she will get someone who says yes and then Patrick will switch the sperm. It is obvious he doesn't want a kid yet he doesn't want her to have one with someone else either. I think they should go the sperm bank route it makes far more sense.

Yes it is just more bad writing on the part of the GH Staff. A smart woman like Robin would likely not just walk up to every man she knows and ask them to be the father of her baby.
I did like the interplay between Robin and Lucky and wish the writers would have the common sense to make them a couple. Think of the adventures they could have and the fun their parents would have watching them and helping them.
I also wonder if her putting Spinelli on her list is a fore shadowing. We are suppose to find out his father soon wouldn't be fun if it were Robert or Mac Scorpio????
But then again either of those two moves would mean that the writers of GH have gotten over their Godfather fixation and moved on to new story lines

Maybe a little but I think Patrick is embarrassing himself more. I mean get a life he is sleeping with Layla and all up in Robin's business. He has no one to blame but himself. Robin would have gladly allowed him to father her child. I know I would!

I think Robin would be better off using a sperm bank. It would save her the trouble. And what guy would be willing to stay out of his child's life, especially when he would be seeing the child around town.

no not really she wants a baby what is wrong with that and she wants one with someone she knows will be a good dad or at least pass it on to the kid. i want her to get back together with patrick i think he be a great dad even throw he say"s he dose not want any kids but i think he really dose or he would not be going and tell jaxs and them to say no.

I think they are writing it that way, to bring up other choices about having a child, and it helps to pair up her with Patrick again.

no she knows what she wants and she's not afraid of rejection and I commend the character for doing that not only isn't she married or in a relationship she is also HIV positive and she isn't letting any of that stand in the way of her having the child that she so desperately wants
