The two angles with x are equal to one another, because they are vertical angles. Vertical angles are congruent.

Same with the ones with y.

Just equal them out to each other.
Like...
3x+17 = 5x - 47

I'm sure this is familiar to you, since this one is algebra.

Hello,

2y + 9 = 3y -20 and 3x +17 = 5x -47 because vertical angles are equal.

So y = 29 and x = 32 Then angle I = 5*32 -47 = 160 -47 = 113
Hope This Helps!

1)
(3x+ 17) = ( 5x - 47 )
64 = 2 x
x = 32
2) same thing for y...y = 29
3) 5 (32) - 47 = 113
