kobe..the lakers without kobe are just crappy (yes you're hearing from a laker fan) ...they would suck. The Cavs without lebron would suck too but I think lakers are in a harder division and in a harder conference. its amazing how he scores so many points against all types of defenses

Scoring is not the only part of basketball that requires gift and talent. Yeah Kobe and Tmac can out jump the rest of the gym, knock down fade away jumpers from half court with guys in their face and twist seven time while holding their nuts before dunking, however, talent stretches past just the scoring aspect of the game.
In school if a kid is 12 years old and graduating MIT or Harvard people would say he is gifted and talented, at school and intellectually.
So why can't Tim Duncan get props for being the most talented at holding his ground in the middle of the paint, rejecting and altering Kobe, Tmac, and Lebrons shots en route to winning titles. Youd better be certain it requires talent to make the kind of passes with the same frequency that Steve Nash does. He is also a talented %53 percent FG shooter from the PG position.
Talent is such a subjective subject, but if you need to give Kobe a title since Shaq left I guess it can be the talent title.

Kobe Bryant....who else can score 81 pts in a single game ??? not only that, his defense is great too....he has the most complete game in the league now. Combination of his skills, experience, physics, and desire to win make him the best player at the moment.

I could argue the point for Kobe wade or James ,but right now Kobe might be the best.

lebron james is the most skilled. dwayne wade is just good at jumping into people and taking foul shots. kobe needs to pass more. he can score, he just needs to pass.

Talented in what way?
The talents/skillset of big men and perimeter players differ. You cant blame centers and PF for their below average ball handling skills and you cant blame PG's and SG's for their post up plays.
