I'm not sure what each one means specifically, but wearing rings on each finger at the same time usually means you're in the mafia.

The only significance of which finger a ring is on is with respect to the finger you wear a wedding ring on that I know of.

When married you put it on one hand and when divorced you switch it to the same finger on the other hand.

As different customs wear it on different hands, I have not stated which is which but most people know which hand a wedding ring goes on.

To me it is more of a religious thing. I am a wiccan witch so I see the left hand as that of the Goddess and the right as that of the God. I wear rings with stones that have significance to the divine hence amber, amethyst,Jet and silver on the left with topaz, turquoise and gold on the right. I also wear a wedding ring of amethyst on my left. I wouldn't because I am not into the christian definition of wearing them there but it keeps unwanted male attention away in this area if they see the wedding ring there. Also my soul mate is christian and wants me to wear the wedding ring on my left.

I was actually curious about wedding rings in homosexuality...I'm not sure if that was anything you were talking about...but since I am here:

Can you give me a thumbs up if you think homosexuals should wear their wedding rings on their left hand,

or a thumbs down if you think they should wear it on their right.
