no i think you're fine. mine are like that sometimes. you might want to talk to your nurse or doctor about it but i would recommend talking to your mom if youre worried. i have trouble talking to my mom, too, but im starting to get better at it because i tell her a lot more.

I guess the first thing I would have to ask is are you sexually active? If so this might be a sign that you have an std. If this be the case, go to the health department and get checked immediately. If not, then I suggest you talk to mom, and let her know what is going on so she can get you in to see a doc.

Also I have 4 daughters, and this is not a normal color for menstual blood to be, unless you are at the very end of your cycle, but not during the whole cycle, and if you've had normal periods for 3 years, I would be concerned.

Sounds like they are becoming what is called "irregular". Not each month, or not at the right time. Best to talk to your mom, because periods are normal things for all females; and she can explain it better, and if need be; have your doctor check it out to make sure everything is ok.

Better to be embarrassed but safe, than there be an undiscovered problem and then HAVE to tell mom about it.

Hey there, as we women grow our periods do change WHY cos every women is different - Brown, dark red, light red, clumps, clots - its all apart of a period - well get a period that is short and long - its all normal

The other question i ask is if your sexually active, if you are it may pay to go get a check up from your doctor - if not, all is ok - talk to your nurse if you want reassurance )

The color is normal.. but if it keeps dramatically changing. You should go to your mom.. she'll understand because she probably went through the same thing. And it's nothing to be ashamed about... you may have some irregular period problems. I had the same problem once. And maybe your period wasn't fully ready, haha.

if you dont go to a gynecologist regularly you should because dramatic changes could mean infection or it could mean nothing at all. but go to the doctor and tell your mom on the safe side. maybe have a brownish color runs in the family but you wont know unless you talk to your mom

Sometimes you have red liquid, and sometimes its brown clumpy. I have bright red for a few days, then brown the rest. As long as you have no pain or odor, it might just be how your body is switching over to what is going to be 'normal' for you. See a gynocologist anyway just to make sure everythings normal for you.

usually there is nothing wrong because that happens to a lot of people. just wait for about one or two more periods to come and if you are still having that problem , ithink it would be best to tell your mom.

Hormones can change any time, especially if affected by naturally changing, nerves, diet, weather etc...You may need to make sure you take an iron supplement especially during that time. Never fear asking your mom or your physician.
