I'd say the Beatles or Elvis Presley. I'd say the Beatles because they were trend setters and people still listen to them because a lot of their stuff is still relevant. Elvis came up with a sound no one had ever heard but many patterned themselves after, and his movements were considered scandalous and couldn't be shown on camera.
