I am not much of a believer in Karma, or any other form of punishment that occurs as a result of otherworldly adjudicators, trying to balance the scales of justice here. Bad things happen to good people, and bad things happen to bad people, while good things happen to good people and bad people. There is no rhyme or reason in it, or any indication that there is an overarching providential force, whether God or Karma, that seeks to mete out punishment and rewards to the unjust and the do-gooder respectively. An objective appraisal of the world would lead anyone to that conclusion. It is only under the influence of religious lunacy, that anyone can conclude that the calamities that we are facing are the result of some divine justice.
In an equitable world, where an unseen force of justice like Karma, or a cosmic and fair all powerful God existed, Nazi war criminals, who were literally responsible for the genocide of millions of innocent people, WOULD NOT be able to escape to take refuge in Latin American countries, and not get caught, while living prosperous long and health lives. In such a world an innocent man like my father, who has hurt no one, but is writhing from physical ailments, should not be in a worse predicament from a standpoint of health, then men who have so much blood on their hands. Yet is this very lopsided world that we live in.
In a world truly governed by some all encompassing justice, men like Bush and his cronies, should not be allowed to profit off an immoral world, and do this with relative impunity, while poor men are sent to maim even poorer men, women and children, and get killed in the process, in order for Bush and his business friends to earn an extra buck.
The greatest argument against religion, and its claims of supernatural justice is just looking at the world as it truly is. It is time that we start to address the problems that afflict us, through our own effort. It is time that we seek redress in this world, and not wait for retribution to come from up above, or in the hereafter.

OH NO, this is the GLOBAL WARMING that the enviro-nuts and Liberals have been hoping for!!!
Worship at the altar of GORE and the new religion: ENVIRONMENTALISM!!!!
Where has there been a brimstone sighting??
And I don't believe in Karma! It's silly!
Maybe it's just NATURE!!??? What a novel idea! When forests that never have underbrush cleared because the enviro-nuts oppose it get really dried out, and then lightning strikes or some CA hippy fails to properly dispose of his joint in a forest, A FIRE STARTS!!!!! And million dollar homes built in those forests by Hollywood Elites also catch fire! Wow!!
When it rains alot, water ends up collecting in flood plains - the places where people like to build there homes now!!

Lunatic fringe
In the twilight's last gleaming
This is open season
But you won't get too far
We know you've got to blame someone
For your own confusion
But we're on guard this time
Against your final solution

Pat Robertson started supporting global warming when he figured out he could use it for his end of world phrophecies.
Me on the other hand, believe what the majority of scientists say. Man made global warming is happening, but it's not going to be the end of the world. Humanity will survive.

I'm having a hard time understanding the people who are using this tragic, disastrous, situation to "prove" it's the liberals fault.
It's not karma. I live in California and the majority of us are good, kind, people.

Have you noticed that prayer is not being used to combat the California Wildfires? I'm also skeptical of the results.

Disasters have happened since the beginning of time. Only liberals use them for political leverage.

Yes if you have noticed, Bush steered Katrina right into the poor black liberal neighborhoods and now he is blowing the fires into the white rich artsy fartsy californians.
