Pretty much everything has a wired ethernet port but some laptops (usually cheapies) don't come with wireless networking.

If your laptop is wifi ready you can see the icon right below the indicator green something point the mouse on it you can read wireless connection. Are you sure the wireless router is perfectly configured to run in wireless . If you cannot find an icon of wireless indicator you to buy a new one. I suggest buy a usb wireless lan because and PCMCIA card i have encountered a lot of problem about laptop compatibility. Try also to reset the reset button of router to his default setting and try to connect your laptop because it's sometimes work.

Easy way to find out is look at owner manual. You can go to control panel/networks and if you have wireless there will be an icon for it in there.

Almost all of the new ones nowadays do. With dell, you build your own computer. Just make sure you add it on. I'm sure they are all on the base package though.

It depends...some do, some don't. if it does, press FN + F2 and you'll find out. (needs the drivers though)

Also, upgrade your processor. Celerons kinda suck.
