Petco, Petsmart, and target all carry exactly what they are looking for. You can look online or in the store.

Hmm you need to imagine that the hartz guy ought to understand more suitable, the a million inch of fish in preserving with gallon rule would not word, and also you go with to do more suitable then a 20$ water change a month, that would want to be each and every a million-2 weeks. Talks alot about bowls also even tho it really is not any longer contained in the question. My answer tho, between freshwater and saltwater, freshwater is way less annoying to maintain and has a larger variety of fish that would nicely be in a 10 gallon, there is not any longer many saltwater fish that would want to be kept in a 10 gallon. You do go with some type of lineing on the bottom, gravel/pebbles, sand, and so on, in case you get colored gravel then you definately go with to rinse it sturdy in the previous putting it contained in the tank. Decor/plant life is significant so the fish could have hiding places. With a freshwater tank the upkeep should be: a 20%-30% water change each and every a million-2 weeks counting on the nitrate, ammonia, nitrite, and ph degrees. might want to sparkling the filters about each and every 6 weeks counting on the quantity of algae and different issues that are in it. The filter out pads with the carbon in them the time for replacing them relies upon on the emblem, those i take advantage of say 6 weeks. With the fish that you need to purchase, you need to get a betta, or a school of neon tetras and some bottom feeders.

Walmart has a stand that holds a 55 gallon aquarium for $198 here in Alaska. Also try Petco or Craigslist. Hope this helps.

Go to a fish/aquatic store. They have stands just for what you're looking for. Check 'em out, and if they seem to pricey for you, and you're able to build your own, "steal" a design you think you could do on your own and build it!
