I have been wanting to become involved in the neuroscience field for a long time, and am trying to find a good way to get myself set in a career for Neural engineering. (before i go any further it should be noted that i am only in 8th grade). I have been searching around, but since Neuroscience is a relatively new field, i have been studying up a bit on Neurology. If anyone has any idea on good Neuroscientific colleges (especially those highly involved in neural engineering), books/rescources, or information in general, i would be happy if you told me. This is not to be confused with neurology, the medical field of neurological diseases.

I'm not sure what neuroscience you're talking about, but the fields aren't exactly new. The nervous systems of humans and other animals has been studied extensively. In computing, artificial neural networks is a technology that seemed promising, but has found only limited application. Visit your local libraries and do some reading in the fields and see what interests you. You'll also see where the good work is being done. You'll want a solid science background, most likely with emphasis in biology.
